letamp;#39;s take a look at the base being negative 2. whoa okay as we all know there are people out there now they will tell you we cannot have negative numbers instead of logarithms because for example if you take a look of log base 2 of negative 8 to see why this right here doesnamp;#39;t have any answer we can put this to be k and then we can change this to an exponential version namely you can just write down 2 to the k power and you make this equal to the inside which is negative eight but the problem is that the left-hand side is exponential meaning this right here is always positive but right here on the right-hand side this right here is negative eight itamp;#39;s a contradiction this right here has no solution therefore it seems like this right here didnamp;#39;t make sense but letamp;#39;s take a look of this one what if we have log and then the inside is still negative eight but this time letamp;#39;s take a look at the base being negative 2. whoa in this case are we

Standard Numbered ACL The standard access list has a number range from 1-99 and 1300-1999. It specifies permit/deny traffic from only a source address with optional wildcard mask. The wildcard mask is used for filtering of subnet ranges. By default, there is an implicit deny all clause as a last statement with any ACL.
The list of users that have access to the item and the operations that they can perform on the item is called an access control list (ACL). An ACL is used at run time to determine what CRUD operations a user can execute on a particular item or item type.
Standard ACLS can be either named or numbered, with valid numbers in the range of 1-99 and 1300-1399. Standard ACLs use a bitwise mask to specify the portion of the source IP address to be matched. Extended ACLs permit or deny traffic based on source or destination IP address, or IP protocol.
An access control list (ACL) is a list of rules that specifies which users or systems are granted or denied access to a particular object or system resource. Access control lists are also installed in routers or switches, where they act as filters, managing which traffic can access the network.
Components of an ACL Sequence number: The sequence number identifies the ACL entry with a specific number. ACL name: The ACL name defines the ACL entry using a name assigned to it as opposed to numbers. In some cases, the router will allow both numbers and letters.
A named, standard ACL is identified by an alphanumeric string of up to 64 characters and is created by entering the Named ACL ( nacl ) context. A numbered, standard ACL is identified by a number in the range of 1 - 99 and is created without having to leave the global config context.
Extended ACL IPv4 ACL TypeNumber Range / Identifier Numbered Standard 1-99, 1300-1999 Numbered Extended 100-199, 2000-2699 Named (Standard and Extended) Name
