And like in every other competitive examination in India, there shall be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer. This means every 4 wrong answers cost you 1 (one) mark. Also, you get a 0 for every question that goes unmarked or unanswered.
A correct answer yields a positive score. A wrong answer or unanswered question both result in zero points. When no correction for guessing is applied, the final grade will correspond to the number of correct answers.
Calculation of marks for Paper I: Each incorrect answer carries a negative marking of o. 33%, which means for every wrong answer 0.66 marks will be deducted.
