I just wanted to take a minute to review how the feature control frame based dimensioning works in PC demas now for those of you that have been using it for a while you know that its the new style of dimensioning and that to activate this style of dimensioning we need to go under insert dimension and we need to ensure that there is no checkmark next to use legacy dimensions the second thing we need to do is define some datums in our part program and these datums are going to behave differently than the current alignment that we have set up and they behave based on the as me y 14.5 standard theres a couple of ways we can define our datums we can select insert dimension and at the top we have an entry labelled datum definition and Im going to select some features as datums Im going to choose plain a as datum a Im going to choose line be as datum B and Point C as datum C and Im going to choose cylinder 5 as datum D as cylinder 5 is actually this mean bore in the center of my part so
