- As of last year, 96.5% of the worldamp;#39;s population live in the same country that they were born in. And thereamp;#39;s nothing wrong with that if you completely agree with every decision your government, society, or circumstances make about your future: whom you can marry, the kind of job that you can have, how much you should pay in taxes. But what if you donamp;#39;t agree? Well, then you can join the remaining 3.5% of us who have chosen to craft a life that we want by planting flags all over the world. Hereamp;#39;s how to do the same. What is flag theory? Flag theory starts with the premise that itamp;#39;s unrealistic to expect any one country, like the one that you happen to be born in, to be the best for you in every way. Instead, flag theory suggests that you may be better off by strategically picking countries for every major aspect or flag of your life. The first flag is nationality. Unfortunately, we live in a world where borders matter. I was born in the Phil

In a computer processor the negative flag or sign flag is a single bit in a system status (flag) register used to indicate whether the result of the last mathematical operation produced a value in which the most docHub bit (the left most bit) was set.
In all architectures that support flags, the N or Negative flag simply matches the most docHub bit of the last number computed. In addition many architectures have a O or Overflow flag which tells you if the most docHub bit was changed by the last operation. When is the N (negative) flag set in assembly? - Stack Overflow Stack Overflow questions when-is-the-n-n Stack Overflow questions when-is-the-n-n
The status register lets an instruction take action contingent on the outcome of a previous instruction. Typically, flags in the status register are modified as effects of arithmetic and bit manipulation operations. For example, a Z bit may be set if the result of the operation is zero and cleared if it is nonzero. Status register - Wikipedia Wikipedia wiki Statusregister Wikipedia wiki Statusregister
In computer processors, the overflow flag (sometimes called the V flag) is usually a single bit in a system status register used to indicate when an arithmetic overflow has occurred in an operation, indicating that the signed twos-complement result would not fit in the number of bits used for the result. Overflow flag - Wikipedia Wikipedia wiki Overflowflag Wikipedia wiki Overflowflag
N Negative The N flag is set to 1 when the result of an operation, interpreted as a signed twos-complement integer, is negative; otherwise the flag is set to 0. Equivalently, the N flag is equal to the most docHub bit of the result.
Declare a variable that will hold the bit flags. As needed, set particular bits (i.e., make the bits 1) using the | operator, clear particular bits (i.e., make the bits 0) using the operator, and/or toggle particular bits (i.e., switch the bits to their other value) using the ^ operator.
You want to do an Bitwise AND operation on the current value with a Bitwise NOT operation of the flag you want to unset. A Bitwise NOT inverts every bit (i.e. 0 = 1, 1 = 0). flags = flags ~MASK; or flags = ~MASK; . When you perform a Bitwise AND with Bitwise NOT of the value you want unset.
