To flag a photo, you can use the shortcut keys P (to flag as a pick) or X (to flag as a reject). You can also use the mouse to click the flag icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
Lightroom Guru Then select the images you want to remove the flag from (Ctrl-A will select them all), and press the flag icon in the Toolbar just below the grid. This will remove the flag from the selected images, and they will disappear from the grid as they no longer meet the filter criteria. Repeat until done.
At the bottom right of the screen, from the menu above the Filmstrip panel that currently says Filters Off, select Flagged. This pulls up only the photos you flagged earlier.
Click the icon next to the Search bar to bring up the filter options: Ratings: Choose a star rating to view photos rated higher than or equal to the specified star rating. Flags: Choose flagged, rejected, or unflagged option to filter photos based on their flag status.
Hold down Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac OS) and press the Up Arrow or Down Arrow to increase or decrease the flag status, respectively. (Grid view only) Click the Flag icon in the upper-left corner of the photo thumbnails to apply or remove the Pick flag. Photos with a Reject flag appear dimmed in the Grid view.
Once photos are flagged, you can click a flag filter button in the Filmstrip or in the Library Filter bar to display and work on photos that youve labeled with a particular flag. See Filter photos in the Filmstrip and Grid view and Find photos using the Attribute filters.
Click Refine Search (the funnel icon) to the right of the search box to open the filter bar. Click one or more filters in the filter bar to view responsive photos. For example, to view only photos to which youve added a Pick flag, click the Pick Flag filter.
