Does activating a field spell destroy your opponents field spell?

Field Spells: If your opponent controls a Field Spell Card at the time that you activate yours, your opponents card will not be destroyed. If you wish to replace the Field Spell Card you currently control, you may send your Field Spell to the Graveyard in order to play a new one.

Can you negate a field spell already in play?

If you Set a Field Spell Card and your opponent already has one active, the opponents Field Spell Card is neither destroyed nor negated. When a Field Spell Card has been active for at least one turn, it cannot be destroyed by the effect of a Quick-Spell Card on either side of the field.

What negate the activation of a spell or trap card?

Dark Bribe can negate any Spell or Trap card the opponent activates at the cost of letting them draw a card instead. While card advantage is incredibly important in Yu-Gi-Oh! the ability that Dark Bribe has to negate a key card is more than enough to make the trade-off worth it.

How do you destroy a field spell?

You have a Field Spell Card on the field. You opponent activates their Field Spell card. However, you chain the activation with a Mystical Space Typhoon or Dust Tornado (or another non-negating destruction card) to destroy the opponents Field Spell Card.

What happens when you negate a field spell?

If the activation of a Spell or Trap Card is negated, that card is sent to the Graveyard after the entire Chain it was activated in resolves if it has not already been moved somewhere, but it is not treated as being sent from the field.

What is the field spell rule in Yugioh?
