hi itamp;#39;s mr. Andersen and this is ap physics essentials double-oh-seven positive and negative charges imagine I take a balloon that doesnamp;#39;t have a charge and I rub it on my head Iamp;#39;m now giving it a charge so I can move it up to something neutral like a wall and if I let it go itamp;#39;ll just stay there now imagine if I take another balloon and I charge that in a similar manner it should have the same charge as the balloon and so if I hold it up next to it and let it go whatamp;#39;s going to happen itamp;#39;ll actually be repelled by that object and so scientists speculated there are two types of charges and we call those positive and negative charges and so an electric charge can be positive or negative if we have a neutral object itamp;#39;s going to have an equal amount of each of those different charges but if itamp;#39;s a charged object like a balloon then itamp;#39;s going to have differences in the number of electric charges that it has if itamp

A fund with a high expense ratio could cost you 10 times maybe more what you might otherwise pay. Typically, any expense ratio higher than one percent is high and should be avoided. Over an investing career, a low expense ratio could easily save you tens of thousands of dollars, if not more.
Typically, the average rate of expense ratio is between 0.50% to 1.50%. However, the expense ratio of index funds or ETFs can be as low as 0.21% or zero in some cases.
Several factors dictate whether an expense ratio is deemed high or low. For investors, an ideal expense ratio ranges from 0.5% to 0.75% for actively managed portfolios. Anything exceeding 1.5% is generally regarded as high.
Expense Ratios in ETFs Such costs can vary markedly depending on the funds size, the investment strategy, and investment category. Usually, the average for passively managed ETFs and mutual funds is between 0.05% and 0.3%. Meanwhile, for actively managed funds, the average is between 0.5% and 1%.
High and Low Ratios A good expense ratio, from the investors viewpoint, is around 0.5% to 0.75% for an actively managed portfolio. An expense ratio greater than 1.5% is considered high.
However, an actively managed fund with the same expense ratio of 0.9% would be considered good.
The expense ratio in a mutual fund is indicated as a percentage of the total AUM (Asset under management), representing the funds operating expenses. These expenses are deducted from the AUM to declare the funds NAV (Net asset value) daily, thereby reducing the overall return from the mutual fund.
An expense ratio of 0.2%, for example, means that for every $1,000 you invest in a fund, youll be paying $2 annually in operating expenses. These funds are taken out of your expenses over time, so you wont be able to avoid paying them.
