all right so now that i let my watercolors dry some i do see some spots that are a little wet especially if you could see it reflecting some but i did want to add just a few areas of pattern on top and iamp;#39;m not going to do this throughout the whole dot but i just wanted to add some texture inside of my dot you do not have to do this but this could just be an extra added element to make your dot a little bit more unique just adding a few line patterns to my dot iamp;#39;m happy with it so i will stop now

We can convert the string into an array of characters, use the map() method to iterate over each character, and replace dots with spaces. Finally, we join the array back into a string. Example: In this example, we replace dots (. ) with spaces ( ) using the map() method.
In regular expressions, the period ( . , also called dot) is the wildcard pattern which matches any single character. Combined with the asterisk operator . * it will match any number of any characters. In this case, the asterisk is also known as the Kleene star.
This just means that in the example we saw earlier, if we want to escape the dot character, we need to put a backslash character before the dot character. Alternatively, we can place the dot character in between \Q and \E.
To use the negation operator, you place the ^ metacharacter immediately after the opening square bracket. For example, [^abc] matches any character that is not a, b, or c.
(dot) metacharacter, and can match any single character (letter, digit, whitespace, everything). You may notice that this actually overrides the matching of the period character, so in order to specifically match a period, you need to escape the dot by using a slash \. ingly.
replaceAll() method to remove punctuation from the input string. The replaceAll() method does regex-based string substitution. It checks through the input string and replaces all parts that match ourrRegex pattern with a replacement string.
There are two remove() methods to remove elements from the List. E remove(int index ) : This method removes the element at the specified index and returns it. The subsequent elements are shifted to the left by one place. boolean remove(Object o ) This method removes the first occurrence of the specified Object .
replaceAll() method to remove punctuation from the input string. The replaceAll() method does regex-based string substitution. It checks through the input string and replaces all parts that match ourrRegex pattern with a replacement string. Therefore, the regex pattern is the key to solving this problem.
