In this video, we will demonstrate how to connect an EGT probe and audible buzzer alarm to a digital PMD1XT pyrometer gauge. To perform this task, you will need the following: A DC power supply A Sensor Connection brand EGT probe A PMD1XT series temperature gauge An audible buzzer A 2 inch length of insulated copper jumper wire Begin by connecting the EGT probe to the PMD1XT gauge. Connect the EGT probes negative wire, which is red, to terminal 6. Then connect the EGT probes positive wire, which is yellow, to terminal 7. Next, we will connect power to the gauge. Connect power positive to terminal 1, and power ground to terminal 2. Lastly, well connect the audible buzzer alarm. Connect the buzzers positive wire, which is red, to terminal 5. Connect the buzzers negative wire, which is black, to terminal 2. Then connect the 2 inch length of insulated copper jumper wire between terminal 1 and terminal 4. Thanks for watching!
