Well, we have been keeping an eye on one of the biggest construction projects in our state, one that will help keep our state connected literally with Canada. Its the new international bridge between the town of Madawaska and Aroostook County and Edmundston in northern New Brunswick. Our Hannah Yeshiva went to the northern part of our state to check on the progress and is here to bring us the latest. Hi, Hannah. Hi. Good morning, Liam, Sharon, good morning, everyone. Well, the very latest is that the bridge is halfway done. Construction of the new International Bridge began in September of 2021, and its on schedule despite some challenges. Its essentially set up like a 45 degree angle from the other one. That other bridge is 900 feet long. This one is like over 1800 feet long. Is about 315 feet between each peer structure, double the length of the old bridge, which was 100 years old and nearing the end of its life. Once finished, its estimated this new one will last for the next 10
