Hi, Im Mike Rankin, Editor-in-Chief of InDesignSecrets and in this video Ill show you how to move pages from one InDesign document to another. Here in my first document I have three pages with an orange border around them, starting with page 1. And this will be my receiving documentwhere I want to move the pages to. In my other document I have five pages and they use Roman numerals and they also have a blue border around them. So lets say I needed to move the first three pages of this document to the start of the other one. To do that I can go to the Layout menu and choose Pages Move Pages. And in this dialog box I can tell InDesign which pages to move, which document to move them to, and where in that document they should go. So I can type in pages 1 through 3 in Roman numerals, I want them at the start of the document, and I want them to go to Document 1. And I also have the option to delete the pages after moving them. If I leave this unchecked, then the pages will be copied

Creating a Waiver Form The name of the business and the event. A description of the risks involved in the event. A release of liability statement. The signature of the customer or participant.
Examples of waivers include the waiving of parental rights, waiving liability, tangible goods waivers, and waivers for grounds of inadmissibility. Waivers are common when finalizing lawsuits, as one party does not want the other pursuing them after a settlement is transferred.
Waivers are written agreements that say the sponsor of an activity will not be liable for harm suffered by participants. Although waivers are primarily legal tools, they also serve an educational purpose by making people think about the potential risks of an activity.
Following are a few points to consider when drafting a waiver for your operation, whether you serve customers, rent to tenants or manage employees. Consider Public Perception. Make sure your waiver is necessary. Inform customers of the need for a waiver. Be Clear And Concise.
In particular, be sure to include these basic elements in your liability waivers. Names and contact information. Assumption of risks and responsibilities, verified by a legal aid. Signature lines for participants or their legal guardians. The date of the event or program. Confirmation of food or other allergies.
Waivers are of different types, such as liability waiver, loan waiver, waiver of premium, and others.
When you sign a waiver, youre voluntarily giving up a privilege or legal right. A waiver is often required before you participate in something dangerous. If you decide to go skydiving, you might have to sign a waiver agreeing that you wont sue the skydiving company if you get injured.
