How do I remove or edit a watermark in Word?

Remove a watermark Double-click near the top of the page to open the header area. Put your cursor over the watermark until you see a 4-way arrow. Select the watermark. Press the Delete key on your keyboard. Repeat as necessary to remove all watermarks.

Can you move the position of a watermark in Word?

If its a text watermark, youll have the WordArt Tools tab available, and if its a picture, youll see the Picture Tools tab when the watermark is selected. If its a text watermark, you can drag it to change its position on the page, but no other editing. If its a picture, right-click and choose Format Picture.
