hi in this video Ill show you how to update your vat number to show on customer invoices first lets go to control panel and from there click on system variables then on your keyboard keep pressing the down arrow key until you docHub v80 number after doing so fill in the value that you want to enter from here and just say press Escape its located on the upper left hand side of your keyboard or press the down arrow key until you docHub the bottom and an option to save will appear you can save from here by pressing enter on your keyboard and when an invoice is generated it shall show your vat number from here I hope this helps and please let us know if you have further questions thank you

Where a customer believes that it has overpaid VAT to its supplier this is a commercial matter between the 2 parties. The customers remedy is to make a claim against that supplier. The supplier may then make a claim to HMRC and reimburse the customer under the arrangements in VAT Regulations 1995, regulations 43A-G.
Revising Paid Invoice If you are revising an invoice that is already paid, you will need to address the payment recording before you do anything else. Depending on whether the payment was already reconciled with bank accounts will also change the process slightly.
When you amend an invoice, this means that youre making changes to the original statement. You might be correcting accounting errors or adding missing information. The amended invoice meaning doesnt refer to deleting the document in its entirety, however.

A modified invoice is similar to a full invoice, but it also includes the VAT inclusive price of products and the total amount including VAT.
If a business makes a mistake on an invoice they have already sent to their customer, they must cancel the invoice with a credit note and then issue a new invoice. The credit note essentially pays the incorrect invoice so there is no outstanding payment.
