To format line spacing: Select the text you want to format. On the Home tab, locate the Paragraph group, click the Line Spacing command, then select the desired line spacing option from the menu. The line spacing will be adjusted.
Select the slide that you want to change the layout for. Select Home Layout. Select the layout that you want. The layouts contain placeholders for text, videos, pictures, charts, shapes, clip art, a background, and more.
Select the Character Spacing tab. In the Spacing box, select Expanded or Condensed. Next to Kerning for fonts, adjust the number in the Points and above box. Alternatively, if you want to turn off kerning, clear the Kerning for fonts box.
