Add and format text Select a text box and type some text. To format, select the text, and select an option to change the font, spacing, or alignment. To create bulleted or numbered lists, select the text, and then select Bullets or Numbering.
In PowerPoint, you can easily use the Find and Replace capabilitiesby accessing the Home tab. However, if you need to replace the font type used for a PowerPoint presentation, there is a Replace Font feature that you can access from the Replace context menu.
If some of your text does not change its font, it may be because it is using a different theme or layout than the rest of your slides. To fix this, you can either apply the same theme or layout to all your slides, or change the font of each text box individually.
You can also use the Replace Font option to change a font throughout your presentation. Heres how: On the Home tab, in the Editing group, select Replace and then select Replace Fonts. In the Replace Font dialog box, in the Replace field, select the font that you want to replace.
From the Design tab, click the drop-down arrow in the Variants group. Select Background Styles. Select the desired style. The available styles will change depending on the current theme colors.
Change the font On the View tab, click Slide Master. On the Slide Master tab, select Fonts, and then click the font that you want for the theme. You can change the fonts for your presentation at any time in Slide Master view.
PowerPoint On the View tab, click Slide Master. Click the slide master to change the font on all slides, or click any of the layouts to change the font size on just that layout. On the slide master or layout, select the level of placeholder text for which you want to change the font size.
Change theme fonts On the View tab, select Slide Master. Then on the Slide Master tab, select Fonts , and then Customize Fonts. In the Create New Theme Fonts dialog box, under the Heading font and Body font boxes, select the fonts that you want to use.
