Show footer information on your slides Click INSERT Header Footer. On the Slide tab, check Footer. In the box below Footer, type the text that you want, such as the presentation title. Check Date and time to add that to your slides.
These can only be accessed from individual layouts. Similarly, the Master Layout button is greyed out whenever you are on a subordinate layout slide. This dialog box allows us to add and remove placeholder boxes for the title, text, date, slide number, and footer.
Unlock an Object You can unlock an item on your slide just as easily as you can lock one. Either right-click the object and select Unlock or click the Padlock in the Selection Pane to unlock it. Keep your slide objects and items save from accidental moves with the Lock feature in PowerPoint.
From Slide Master view, right-click a slide master in the Thumbnails pane. Select Delete Master. Deleting a slide master will also delete all of its layouts.
Step 1: Open the restricted PowerPoint presentation and then click File. Step 2: Click on Info on the left and then select Mark as final on the drop-down menu under Protect Presentation. Step 3: Now, the presentation is editable.
Select the PowerPoint slide/s containing locked shape(s) you need to unlock, then click Unlock objects (Found beneath the Lock Object icon on the PPT Productivity Ribbon). The file will close momentarily and reopen (you need to first save your document to a local drive).
Click VIEW Normal, and click the slide you want to change. Click INSERT Header Footer. Click the Slide tab, make the changes you want, and click either Apply to apply the changes to the selected slides, or Apply to All to make the changes to all the slides.
