Triangular irregular networks (TIN) are a popular form of digital geographic data that have been used for many years by the GIS and CAD communities. TINs are formed by triangulating a set of vertices that are connected with a series of edges to form a network of triangles.
To import the TIN file, the accompanying PNT point file must exist in the same source directory. Click Home tab Create Ground Data panel Surfaces drop-down Create Surface From TIN . In the Create Surface From TIN dialog box, browse to the location of the TIN file and select it.
