ladies and mostly gentlemen are you a home gamer just like me building custom parts in your garage if so you probably have that dream of getting one of those big milling machines for your shop unfortunately since those big bertas are designed for industrial use they often come in really high voltages so today iamp;#39;m converting my milling machine from 600 volts to 220 volts and it wasnamp;#39;t that easy um doesnamp;#39;t work first and quickly i just want to address my choice on that modification yes i could keep the machine as it is get a power up transformer pumping up the 220 volts to 600 then get a vfd or a roto phase to generate that third phase needed for me it was an expensive option so instead i went with the simpler solution of getting a 220 volts motor also not that iamp;#39;m planning on selling the machine but frankly it is easier to sell something to someone when you just have to plug it into the typical standard outlet and not bother with vfds and transfor
