PDFs are useful for maintaining document formatting and preventing easy editing, making them ideal for signed documents. Mac OS users can use the Preview app to add a signature to a PDF. To do this, open the PDF in Preview, click on the show markup toolbar icon, then select the signature icon. Create and save your signature using your trackpad, built-in webcam, or an iPhone/iPad. For trackpad input, click the text as prompted and sign your name. Alternatively, you can use a webcam to capture your signature. After signing, click "done" to save the signature.
