hello Iamp;#39;m Jessica an e-learning specialist and Iamp;#39;m here today to show you how to adjust your columns in Excel so you can see we have a an excel file here and thereamp;#39;s a lot of text in some of them and currently I canamp;#39;t see them so thereamp;#39;s a few ways to do it first you can just simply click between the columns and drag I can highlight a number of columns and here if I drag itamp;#39;s actually going to make them all exactly the same or if I click in the upper corner youamp;#39;ll see itamp;#39;s actually selected all of the cells and if I double click itamp;#39;s going to take all of the cells and make them all as long as the column needs to be to show you all of the information in that cell and there you have it a great way to make your columns whatever size you need it to be real quick short and easy hope this helps

Go to Home Cells Format. Under Cell Size, select AutoFit Column Width. Note: To quickly autofit all columns on the worksheet, select Select All, and then double-click any boundary between two column headings.
You use the TRIM function in Excel removes extra spaces from text. It deletes all leading, trailing and in-between spaces except for a single space character between words. Where text is a cell that you want to remove excess spaces from. Yep, its that simple!
If your cell has white space, and you want to increase the line space to fill it evenly, change the vertical spacing to Justify. Right-click in the cell you want, and click Format cells. On the Alignment tab, change Vertical to Justify. Click OK. Your text is now distributed evenly inside the cell.
Right-click on the cells youve selected and then click the Format Cells button. This opens the Format Cells options box. In the Indent box, select the size of your additional spacing. The additional padding between your text and cell borders will be applied to your selected cell range.
Edit the cell, select the space, press CTRL+C, press ESC to exit the edit mode, press CTRL+H to open find replace, press CTRL+V to paste the space into the find text field, click Replace All.
Select all of the text in the text box, right-click it, and click Paragraph. Select the line spacing you want. Tip: You can also tighten the text by reducing the font size. Select the text, then right-click on it, click Font, and select the font size you want.
Whenever you want to remove blank spaces in your Excel sheets, perform these 4 quick steps: Select the cells (range, entire column or row) where you want to delete extra spaces. Click the Trim Spaces button on the Ablebits Data tab. Choose one or several options: Remove leading and trailing spaces. Click the Trim button.
Use the Trim formula to remove extra spaces Add the helper column to the end of your data. In the first cell of the helper column (C2), enter the formula to trim excess spaces =TRIM(A2) Copy the formula across the other cells in the column. Replace the original column with the one that has the cleaned data.
