Hello everyone, I'm Ian Lamont, the author of Google Drive and Docs in 30 minutes. Today, I will be discussing office compatibility mode for Google Docs, a feature that allows you to edit Microsoft Word documents without needing to have Microsoft Word installed. There are some limitations to this feature, which I will explain shortly. To use Google Docs in office compatibility mode, you will need to install a special extension called "office editing for Docs, sheets, and slides". You can find extensions by going to the chrome menu, selecting window, and then choosing extensions. Check to see if you already have the extension installed, and if not, you can download it from the Chrome Web Store.
