in this video we are going to review how to modify a batch of samples using the sample management page this is the same functionality as updating a field via a template only it is done directly through the gui this would be used for a project that has already been submitted into the system that needs one or more fields updated you can modify as many samples as youamp;#39;d like this way however the sample management page only displays four samples at a time so this would work better for modifying one offs from the projects and samples screen you can navigate to the project that has the sample or samples you need to modify when you click on that project you can scroll down to confirm the attributes on the sample if you hover over the eye icon you will see the fields that have already been associated with the submitted sample here we have sample concentration sample type units and volume now we are going to click on the samples we wish to modify they will be highlighted in blue
