hi Iamp;#39;m Ted today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to edit a formula in Excel I have a spreadsheet setup here and itamp;#39;s just a Majestyamp;#39;s and each one had a certain pay rate in year one and the the next column column see shows the number of weeks they worked in in year one and over on the right here we have the total pay and the total pay if you if you look it says if you look in the formula bar up here on the where my cursor is on the top left its B 2 times C 2 so the pay for year 1 is the pay rate in dollars per week times the number of weeks worked in endear 1 and so the first employee 400 hours times 35 weeks is $14,000 and then the same formula is just copied down to all the other cells now letamp;#39;s say we we have now we have the new year and we have a new pay rate so letamp;#39;s just say everybody got a you know a raise of $50 a week so Iamp;#39;m not not very generous so we just we weamp;#39;re just going to add a formula here each one is $50 highe

Shift + F9 recalculates changed formulas in the active worksheet only. Ctrl + Alt + F9 forces Excel to recalculate absolutely all formulas in all open workbooks, even those that have not been changed.
XLS Editor is an extension that allows to create, edit and view any Microsoft Excel document in both XLS and XLSX format.
Tip: When you are editing a cell that contains a formula, you can press F9 to permanently replace the formula with its calculated value.
Click the File tab, click Options, and then click the Formulas category. Do one of the following: To recalculate all dependent formulas every time you make a change to a value, formula, or name, in the Calculation options section, under Workbook Calculation, click Automatic. This is the default calculation setting.
Follow these three steps to convert formulas to values in Excel with the use of keyboard shortcuts: Select the cells with the formula. Place your cursor on the cells or range that contain the formula youre converting. Press Control and C to copy the formula. Press Shift and F10 and V to paste values.
In a new cell, enter the formula =TOTEXT(cellreference) , replacing cellreference with the cell containing the formula you want to convert. Press Enter to display the result as a text string. Copy the resulting text and paste it as values to replace the original formula.
Automatically refresh data at regular intervals Click a cell in the external data range. On the Data tab, in the Connections group, click Refresh All, and then click Connection Properties. Click the Usage tab. Select the Refresh every check box, and then enter the number of minutes between each refresh operation.
