Use the CHANGE command: Type in the CHANGE command. Type ALL to select all objects and then Enter. Type P for Properties. Type E for Elevation. Type 0 and then a final Enter to end the command.
Click Grading menu Create Feature Lines from Objects. In the Create Feature Lines dialog box, select the Assign Elevations check box. Select the From Gradings option. Select the Insert Intermediate Grade Break Points check box to insert intermediate grade breaks where the entity crosses surface TIN lines.
Right-click the selection of points. Click Datum. When prompted, enter the desired change in elevation. (Note: Use a negative value if you want to lower the elevation.)
Use the Edit Cogo Point Settings command to create and edit SHP COGO point settings. A point setting controls (configures and interprets) how COGO or AutoCAD points are inserted into an Autodesk Civil 3D drawing. Note: To create and edit SHP feature line settings, use the Edit Feature Line Settings command.
Select a point in the drawing, right-click Properties. On the Design tab expand the Autodesk Civil 3D section to display the point properties for Display, Information, Coordinate, and Labeling. To change a property, click in the cell and enter a new value or select a value from the list.
Click the Elevation Layer drop-down arrow and specify an elevation layer. Click the Elevation Point Attribute drop-down arrow and specify the field where you want to insert the new points elevation value. Click Create. The point is created and selected in the map.
To insert multiple elevation points at an increment Click Modify tab Edit Elevations panel Insert Elevation Point . Select the feature line or other object. Enter Increment. Enter a value to define the length of the increment. Points are placed equidistant along the feature line using the specified increment.
To insert a feature line elevation point by selecting a location. Click Modify tab Edit Elevations panel Insert Elevation Point . Select the feature line or other object. Click to select the location along the feature line to insert the elevation point.
