Iamp;#39;m back with my 8 month update after ACL and medial and lateral meniscus surgery so first Iamp;#39;m just going to talk about the appointment that I just had yesterday and then Iamp;#39;ll just get into what Iamp;#39;m doing moving forward and how everything is then and stuff like that I went back to the surgeon for another follow-up this time I ended up doing it to speed and then doing the Y balance test again and even doing it to speed on the 10 rep part that was a little bit like heavier feeling it did hurt and basically thereamp;#39;s still a pretty big difference in my quads but my hamstrings are much much closer so overall I still need to continue to work on my quad strength and with the by balance test sheamp;#39;s actually a little bit confused about the results because if you just looked at my injured leg from the last time to this time thereamp;#39;s a really big difference but the thing is once again my right leg has gotten also

Anterior cruciate ligament From Lateral condyle of the femur To Intercondyloid eminence of the tibia Identifiers Latin ligamentum cruciatum anterius7 more rows
Iliotibial band (ITB) tenodesis or modified Lemaire tenodesis with iliotibial band graft is a type of minimally invasive surgical technique that is employed in conjunction with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction to improve anterolateral rotational stability in a knee with a high degree of rotational
The anterior cruciate ligament originates from the anterior intercondylar area of the tibia, close to the attachment of the medial meniscus. From here, it extends superoposteriorly, and laterally to insert on to the posteromedial side of the lateral femoral condyle.
The two ligaments inside the knee that cross each other are called the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). Both ligaments attach on one side to the end of the thighbone (femur) and on the other to the top of the shinbone (tibia).
You can stretch or tear your ACL if you make a sudden movement or quick, sharp turn when youre running or jumping. Its often painful, and can make it hard to walk or put pressure on the injured leg.
Direct ACL insertion is located anteriorly, on the medial surface of the lateral femoral condyle. It is connected to a bone depression parallel and immediately posterior to the intercondylar lateral ridge and to the medial surface of the lateral femoral condyle.
The ACL arises from the anteromedial aspect of the intercondylar area on the tibial plateau and passes upwards and backwards to attach to the posteromedial aspect of the lateral femoral condyle. The ACL tibial footprint substantially overlaps the anterior root lateral meniscus footprint 6.
