once logged onto your account on the home page using the menu bar at the top select my account then scroll down under my order section select the permit you wish to change your vehicle scroll down under the vehicle section until you come across temporary change of vehicle and permanent change of vehicle select temporary change of vehicle for temporary changes enter your new vehicle detail registration in the search vehicles section press the search tab and then scroll down you will then need to enter the date from and the date till please note that you can only change your vehicle three times in a rolling 12 month period temporary vehicle changes can only be booked up to 21 days from the start date when you have input all your details select accept vehicle details once complete you will receive a confirmation email of the status change made to your account this change will also appear on your activity log on your account to permanently change your existing permit with a new vehicle th

Change of vehicle For permanent changes we need documentation linking you to the new vehicle, such as insurance, vehicle registration document or garage invoice. If there will be an overlapping period when you will have two vehicles, we can issue a permit for up to five days.
Put simply, a Permit Holders Only sign indicates that only those who have a valid permit can park in the area covered by the sign.
If you are unable to change details online you can make an appointment to visit Gateway on 023 8083 2005, at the appointment, bring in your old permit and a copy of your new vehicles V5C. Alternatively, if you do not wish to make an appointment, you can visit Gateway and wait in the queue.
To change the vehicle your permit is attached to, log into the MiPermit system using your unique PIN and click on Manage Virtual Permits. Click on the permit you wish to amend 2. Once approved, you will receive another email asking you to log into your account to make payment. Your permit will be activated following payment and you will receive an email to confirm this. Do not park until your permit is showing as active on your account.
