A law school outline is a document comprised of all the rules that are likely to appear on a law school exam. The fact that you see the level option in the outline numbering tab of the paragraph style grayed out means that the level is already assigned in that menu. The level option in the paragraph style can be used to set additional styles for each level.
Add or remove a border for a shape or text box Select the shape or text box to which you want to add, change, or remove a border. Click Shape Format, and then click the arrow next to Shape Outline. Either click the color that you want, or mix your own color by clicking More Outline Colors.
To specify an outline level for a paragraph, 1) place the cursor on the paragraph in the editing window, 2) display the Paragraph dialog in the Paragraph group of the ribbon Home, 3) select the outline level you wish to set, and 4) click OK to close the dialog.
Adjust indents and spacing in Word Select one or more paragraphs to adjust. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, select the. Dialog Box Launcher. Choose the Indents and Spacing tab. Choose your settings and select OK.
Go to Design Page Borders. Make selections for how you want the border to look. To adjust the distance between the border and the edge of the page, select Options. Make your changes and select OK.
