Google Docs will automatically add headings to an outline, but you can also add them manually. Open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap Edit . Select the text you want to make a heading. Tap Format . Tap TEXT. Style. Tap a heading style. Tap Done. . The heading will be added to the outline.
In Google Docs, click Template Gallery. Click the newsletter template you want to use. Make any changes to the template and add your newsletter text.
With your Google Doc open, highlight the table cells that you want to make borderless. Right-click your highlighted selection, and then select Table properties. Under Table border in the Table properties window, change the border color icon to white.
On your computer, open a document or presentation. Select the cells you want to change. In the toolbar, click the style you want to change: Border color. Border width or Border weight. Border dash. Background color or Fill color.
While editing Google Docs Document Outline, you can disable or remove specific headings from the index. Step 1 Scroll your mouse to the Outline and hover over the particular heading you want to remove. Step 2 Click the cross (x) sign at the side of the heading.
The fact that you see the level option in the outline numbering tab of the paragraph style grayed out means that the level is already assigned in that menu. The level option in the paragraph style can be used to set additional styles for each level.
In Outline View (click View Outline), you use Outline Tools to move and edit headings, change heading levels, and move text around. You can also control how much detail you see.
