hello everyone how are you doing this is mdtech here for another quick tutorial in todayamp;#39;s tutorial iamp;#39;m going to show you guys how to adjust the page margins in microsoft word so should hopefully be a pretty straightforward process here guys and without further ado letamp;#39;s go ahead and jump right into it so all you have to do is select the layout tab and on the left side versus margins go ahead and click little arrow under that you can select a commonly used margin size over here on the left or you can select custom margins by selecting that option at this point you go ahead and select the custom margin size as well as page orientation and you can go ahead and apply that to the whole document and then you would select ok to save that you also notice there was an option to set as default if you wanted to have the default going forward you just select set as default whatever changes you made up here would then become the permanent or semi-permanent everythin

In Word, each page automatically has a one-inch margin. You can customize or choose predefined margin settings, set margins for facing pages, allow extra margin space to allow for document binding, and change how margins are measured. Select Layout Margins.
On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Margins. Do one of the following: To use predefined margins, click Normal, Wide, or Narrow. Tip: If you previously used a custom margin setting, that setting is available as the Last Custom Setting option.

Adjusting margins in Page Setup Click File and select Page Setup. Now you can change each margin by clicking a box and typing a new measurement. Click OK when youre done. The default margins are set to one inch on each side. The default margins take effect whenever you create a new document.
Change margins in your document to change the layout and make sure everything fits. Select Layout Margins. Select the margin measurements you want. Note: If your document contains multiple sections, the new margins apply only to the selected sections.
Showing Margins in Word Click on the View tab. Then, check the box next to Ruler in the Show section. The gray sections on the ruler represent the margins of the page. You can also adjust the margins using the ruler.
Go to the Layout tab and click the Margins drop-down menu. Once the different preset margin formats are displayed, select one from the selection that suits your needs. If what you need is not in the options, select Custom Margins. This will launch the Page Setup dialogue box in the middle of your window.
