all right welcome back everyone another video on the basics of growth I want to talk about how to extend Groff or generally how you can add macros and make your own commands in case something is a little too long or you want to abbreviate something or really just make it your own thing Iamp;#39;m also just gonna talk about some other formatting stuff I didnamp;#39;t touch on in the last video so here we have another document again weamp;#39;re using the MS macros Iamp;#39;m still compiling to PDF and here is our document here we have some headings we have some text paragraph text one thing I donamp;#39;t think I mentioned in the last video so in H starts a section so nh4 introduction in H for formatting both of these sections start within H you can also use SH and what SH is is a unnumbered heading so youamp;#39;ll notice the numbers disappear if we recompile this so if youamp;#39;re the kind of person who either doesnamp;#39;t want numbered headings or maybe you need a heading

Change default margins Select Layout Margins Custom Margins. Set your margins. Select Set As Default.
Change margins Select Layout Margins.  Select the margin configuration you want, or select Custom Margins to define your own margins.
Change margins in your document to change the layout and make sure everything fits. Select Layout Margins. Select the margin measurements you want. Note: If your document contains multiple sections, the new margins apply only to the selected sections.
Click the Margins button. The Margins dialog box will appear. Specify the edge of the paper where the binding will be placed. You can choose from Left, Top, and Right.
On the dialogue box, change the margin format by typing your desired measurements in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right margin fields. Then, click the Apply to drop-down menu and select Selected text. Click on the OK button to save the changes.
Adjust the text box margins Click the Shape Options tab if it isnt already selected. , and then click Text Box. You can adjust the left, right, top, and bottom margins.
