hi Iamp;#39;m Matthew Pierce Iamp;#39;m a software engineer and today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to adjust the margins and the ruler uh in Microsoft Word pad which is used to control the margins and indention and whatnot as you see here Iamp;#39;ve got Microsoft Word pad running and Iamp;#39;ve got part of the Gettysburg address in here and you can see thereamp;#39;s three paragraphs and their block format no indention at all so first thing you want to do is highlight the text that you want to effect so you can just do that by clicking and selecting and dragging and highlight it now the ruler bar up here has got several little knobs that you can tweak to give you different effects this knob right here adjusts how far you want to indent the first uh sentence of every paragraph so you can just slide that until it meets your needs this knob down here this big square one well that grabs the entire everything the left margin and pulls everything left and right but if you
