- When designing a logo, you may find a typeface that is right for a design, but you may also want to customize it slightly to further craft the type to tailor the aesthetic, make the type more bespoke to make the overall logo unique. Customizing a typeface can be done in vector-based programs like Illustrator and Affinity Designer, where you can tweak the letter forms to suit your design. Over the past few videos, I have demonstrated the techniques I use to research and choose a typeface for my logo design. With my chosen typeface, next itamp;#39;s time to incorporate it into my logo to complete my design. Now, looking back at my scamp designs, we can see that for my type, I have some very particular characteristics I want to achieve.
