Open the list to edit. On the lists command bar, click Edit in grid view. Enter the information for each list item. Important: You must enter information if the column label has an asterisk * next to it.
At the top of the list, select Edit in grid view. You can also select the List tab, and then select Edit in grid view. Edit item information as you would in a spreadsheet. Important: You cant attach a file to multiple list items when editing in grid view.
Open an existing SharePoint list from within SharePoint Navigate to the list. Select the list, and then on the List tab, in the Customize List group, click Customize Form to launch InfoPath and automatically load the list for customization.
Go to the library or list and open it. Select Settings , and then Library settings or List settings. Depending on your SharePoint version, you may then need to select More library settings.
How to Edit SharePoint List using Quick Edit Access the list you want to edit. Click on List tab or Library tab on upper left. Click on Quick Edit. The list turns into a spreadsheet interface, and data entry is now a breeze!
Edit the list template properties Select Settings. , and then select Site Settings. In the Web Designer Galleries column, select List templates. For the list template that you want to edit, in the Edit column, select Edit . Edit the information that you want to change, and then select OK.
Edit a single item in list view Open the list you want to edit. Select the item, and then on the lists command bar, click Edit . Enter the information in the list item. You may see a custom form instead of the default list form. For items with attachments, do one or more of the following: Click Save.
