Define a new list style Select the text or numbered list you want to change. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the arrow next to Multilevel List. Specify a name for your new list style. Choose the number to start the list at. Choose a level in the list to apply your formatting.
Open the list to edit. On the lists command bar, click Edit in grid view. Enter the information for each list item. Important: You must enter information if the column label has an asterisk * next to it.
Edit a Microsoft Word document Click the. Edit. tab. Select the text that you want to edit. Using the tools in the edit toolbar, change the required formatting including font style, paragraph alignment, list formatting, and indentation options.
Edit one or more items in a list Navigate to the site containing the list where you want to edit an item. Select the name or title of the list. Select the circle next to the item you want to edit, right click, and then select in the dropdown. In the list item, edit the information you want to change. Click Save.
Select the name of the view that you want to change. Select View options again, and then select Edit current view. On the Edit View page, make your changes.

Note: If you do not see Delete as an option, this may be the default view for the list for which you cannot delete a view. You may first need to create or change modify another view and make it the default. When prompted to confirm, click OK.
Change a view In the command bar of your list, select View options . If View options. Select the name of the view that you want to change. Select View options again, and then select Edit current view. On the Edit View page, make your changes. When you are finished with your changes, select OK.
