to turn on keyboard backlight in your laptop with that facility first of all locate for the key with the keyboard illumination icon in my system it is located on the f5 key now hit the function key and the key with the illumination I can together then the light will turn on in dim mode hit both of them once again to increase the brightness level and hit once again to turn it off if this method doesnt work then try the second method for it restart your computer once the system is turned off then start hitting the f2 key in your keyboard to open the BIOS setup okay now in the BIOS in the left pane click on system configuration and then in the right said go down and pluck it for the option keyboard illumination it is here now it is in the disable the mode so turn it on into dim or bright mud and just below you can see this option keyboard backlight timeout on power or on battery so you can select your preferred timeout from these options once you have done it click on apply changes and
