hi this is Rick from Rickamp;#39;s daily tips Tech blog I recently received a message from someone wanting to know if itamp;#39;s possible to change the name of a label in Gmail the answer is yes and itamp;#39;s very easy to do however youamp;#39;ll have to do it using Gmail and a desktop browser because thereamp;#39;s no way to do it via the Gmail mobile app first open Gmail in a web browser and sign into your account in the left hand column scroll down to the label youamp;#39;re wanting to rename and hover your mouse pointer over it for this demonstration I created a label and named it summer events thatamp;#39;s it right there as you can see when I hover my mouse pointer over that label three dots appear beside it click those three dots and select edit from the menu now replace the label name with the with the new name of your choosing Iamp;#39;ll rename my label from summer events to Winter events and finally finish by clicking save and thatamp;#39;s all there is to it as

Click the cell in the Field Name column for the field whose Caption property you want to set. In the bottom section, under Field Properties, on the General tab, click Caption. Type a new caption for the field. To save your changes, click Save on the Quick Access Toolbar.
