Open the document you want to revise. Click on the Tools menu. Click on Track Changes. Begin editing the document, adding or deleting text as necessary.
Why cant I enable editing in Word? The document is probably locked. To unlock it, you must sign in as the document owner and then remove the password protection restriction. Select File Info Protect Document Encrypt with Password remove the password OK.
To make changes to a document, in the upper-right corner, select Edit Document Edit. If someone else created the document, they might not allow editing. You can go to File Save as, save it with another name, and edit the new document. Or you can ask the document owner to enable editing.
Follow these steps to edit: Go to File Info. Select Protect document. Select Enable Editing.
The term editing seems to be used interchangeably to mean copyediting, proofreading, substantive editing, content editing, and technical editing.
Click the File tab. Click Info to view the properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Click the File tab again to return to your publication. Any changes you made are saved automatically. Optional steps:
On the Home tab, right-click any style in the Styles gallery and click Modify. In the Formatting section, make any formatting changes you want, such as font style, size, or color, alignment, line spacing, or indentation.
Once done with the signup, go to the Dashboard and add your DOCM for editing. Upload it from your device or use the hyperlink to its location in your cloud storage. Click on the added document to open it in the editor and make all modifications you have in mind using our tools.
