To add or edit a header or footer, click the left, center, or right header or footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page (under Header, or above Footer). Type the new header or footer text.
Adjust the Header and Footer Height Click the Page Layout tab. Click the Margins button. Select Custom Margins. Enter a new height for the header or footer. Click OK.

Create different headers or footers Double-click the header or footer. Select Different Odd Even Pages. On one of the odd pages, select the header or footer area you want to change. Type the document title, and then press Tab twice. Select Page Number Current Position and choose a style. Select an even page.
Try it! Select Insert Header or Footer. Select one of the built in designs. Type the text you want in the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer when youre done.
