When printing in Excel, you can add headers and footers to the top and bottom of the page. Headers and footers are separate from page titles and appear on every page. To add headers and footers, go to the page setup menu in the page layout tab. Click the page setup drop-down and select the header and footer tab to customize the text that will appear on every page.

This will display the Design tab of Header & Footer Tools. With the options under this tab, you can create a personalized header that suits your style. Tip: Double-click on the top of any page of the document to open the Edit Header option.
Add header or footer to first page only in a worksheet Click Insert > Header & Footer, and then under the Design tab, check Different First Page option, see screenshot: Then click the left, center, or right box at the top of the worksheet of page 1 to add your header information.
Attempting to use a REST URL that exceeds 255 characters results in the message "The text string you entered is too long. Reduce the number of characters or cancel the entry." Excel has a limit of 255 characters for URLs used to import data.
You can customize headers and footers in Word to include everything from page numbers and the date to a logo and document author. Headers and footers allow you to include specific information in a Word document.
On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Header & Footer. Excel displays the worksheet in Page Layout view. To add or edit a header or footer, click the left, center, or right header or footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page (under Header, or above Footer). Type the new header or footer text.
Add a header or footer Open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap Edit . In the top right, tap More . Turn on "Print Layout." Tap the header or footer. Type the text you want in your header or footer.
Modifying your Heading Apply the correct heading style to it. Change the font, color, size, etc. until you are satisfied with your changes. Note: you can stop now if you want to change only this instance of the heading.
On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format. Under Cell Size, click AutoFit Row Height. Tip: To quickly autofit all rows on the worksheet, click the Select All button, and then double-click the boundary below one of the row headings.
Since the amount of content entered in a header or footer can vary, the height may need to be adjusted to fit all the text. Click the Page Layout tab. Click the Margins button. Select Custom Margins. Enter a new height for the header or footer. Click OK.
Create different headers or footers Double-click the header or footer. Select Different Odd & Even Pages. On one of the odd pages, select the header or footer area you want to change. Type the document title, and then press Tab twice. Select Page Number > Current Position and choose a style. Select an even page.
