hereamp;#39;s a quick and dirty way to line up equations first we need an equation and so Iamp;#39;ll use one of the built-in equations letamp;#39;s use the quadratic formula and here it is on left justification say I want to Center it and then I want the number on the right side so first thing I want to do is change this tabs tab stop from a left tab to a center tab and Iamp;#39;m going to put that at three point two five which is the center of this particular document and then Iamp;#39;m gonna do another tab stop on the right so I clicked this to turn it to a right tab stop and Iamp;#39;ll put that over there now Iamp;#39;m ready to go to the beginning of this and press tab that centers the equation and on the other side of the equation I press tab again and Iamp;#39;ll put my number in and there we go now if I want to repeat this for other equations Iamp;#39;ll just copy the whole thing and paste it down here oh that did not work did it hit a newline return and there we go

Select the arrow directly below Equation; this will open a drop-down menu. Choose a preset equation; a box with your equation will appear on the screen. Select the box to open the editor. Select elements in the equation to edit/replace them.
Select Insert Equation or press Alt + =. To use a built-in formula, select Design Equation. To create your own, select Insert Equation Insert New Equation. Use your finger, stylus, or mouse to write your equation.
Create a Form Place the text cursor where you want to insert the form field. Click the Developer tab on the ribbon. Click the Design Mode button in the controls group. Click a Content Control buttons to insert the selected type of control. When youre done, click the Design Mode button again to exit Design Mode.
You can also press F9 to update your table of figures. Select an Update in the in the Update Table of Figures dialog box. Select Update page numbers if you need to adjust the page numbers. Select Update entire table if you have moved figures or altered captions.
You dont have to know which fields are locked to be able to unlock all of them. Just select the entire area that contains the fields (or Ctrl++A to select the entire document) and press Ctrl+Shift+F11. That will unlock any locked fields, and it wont affect the ones that are already unlocked.
Update all fields in a document Press F9. If your document has tables with fields or formulas, you might need to select each table separately and press F9. Tip: To make sure that you dont forget to update your table of contents before you print the document, set Word to update fields automatically before printing.
View the Developer tab to add or change content controls To add a control, click in the document where you want to add it, and then click the control you want to add on the Design tab. To set properties on a control or change an existing control, on the Developer tab, in the Controls group, click Properties.
Update the result of specific formulas Select the formulas that you want to update. You can select multiple formulas by holding down the CTRL key while you make selections. Do one of the following: Right-click the formula, then click Update field. Press F9.
