Word's very useful features is Fields, which can help avoid errors when sending proposals to new customers. By creating a custom field for customer names, you can easily insert the correct name into your documents without the risk of old names being left behind. This can be done by going to File - Info - Properties - Advanced Properties - creating a custom field called customer name. When you need to insert the customer's name, simply go to Insert - Quick Parts - Fields and select the custom field you created.
