[Music] [Music] welcome to ed tech tips for class in this video we are going to learn how to work in Microsoft documents inside our Google Drive if youre new to Google Drive and the rest of Google Apps please check out our previous videos introduction to Google Apps and introduction to Google Drive youll find the links in the description we love to work with Google Docs sheets and slides because theyre easy to use and very useful but sometimes were interested in working with native Microsoft Office files particularly Word Excel and PowerPoint and we would like to be able to work with these formats without leaving our drive and maybe share these documents with other users just as if they were native Google Drive files by default Google Drive will just let us view Microsoft documents and convert them into the Google format we click this file for example well see the file but we cannot change it we cannot edit in any way all we can do is open it converting the document into the Googl
