This video tutorial demonstrates how to utilize Google Chrome's local overrides feature to edit and modify websites. Local overrides allow you to edit files being used by a web application and save the modifications locally, with Chrome referencing the local file instead of the remote file. This capability enables editing of websites by modifying various files such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. This feature is valuable for better understanding and developing web applications, as it eliminates the need to push files remotely to a server. The tutorial will guide you through the process using the example of editing Google's homepage.
