Click the System Settings icon in the Dock or choose Apple menu System Settings. Click a setting. Settings are listed in the sidebar and may vary depending on your Mac and the apps youve installed. Change an option.
Here is how to get to settings on your Mac: Click on the Apple icon in the top menu on your screen. Select System Preferences. In the window that appears, you can manage settings of different options on your Mac.
On your Mac, select a disk, folder, or file, then choose File Get Info. If the information in Sharing Permissions isnt visible, click the arrow . (You may also need to scroll down.) Select a user or group in the Name column, click the pop-up menu, then choose a privilege setting.

To change these settings, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down). Go to Text Input on the right, then click Edit. Select this on the left to change options for all input sources. Some options only appear when you add certain input sources.
From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Settings. Click General in the sidebar. Click Transfer or Reset on the right. Click Erase All Content and Settings.
To open these settings, choose Apple menu System Settings, click General in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then click Software Update on the right. Set update options for installing system software and updates automatically.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the file, then choose File Export. Click the Format pop-up menu, then choose a file type. If you dont see the file type you want, press and hold the Option key and click the Format pop-up menu to see specialized or older formats.
