[Music] when you sign your durable power of attorney you can have a single agent if you want but we always recommend that you have more than one person because if your agent does not want to take on that role and you dont have a power of attorney which is essentially what would happen if your agent doesnt want to be your agent then you would basically have to fall back to washington statute which would require you to get a guardianship to have a guardianship which would then require the expense of the guardianship the reports to the court and its just not worth it when you could simply have a second person named to be a successor agent you could have a family member and then a child if you wanted to or even a friend it doesnt have to be a family member for these kinds of documents it just has to be somebody that you really trust if you wanted to revoke the document its not too difficult you can execute a later power of attorney that revokes the previous one and names new individu
