lets make a drop down list of only unique values from a table in Excel and its going to automatically update so if we add lets say a new manufacturer here the unique list will update to add that as well and the first thing that we do is to turn this into a table so click in here and hit Ctrl t or insert table if you have headers which you should check my table as headers okay then we can go and create our list equals unique its a function in newer versions of Excel and it is amazing so lets select the entire manufacturers column were going to get a table reference here the name of the table the name of the column we can close it up hit enter and we get a unique list so no repeats but maybe we want to sort it if we have a lot of values and we want to make sure its in a nice order so we could put sort around unique thats not going to do anything in this case because acne was already first but it can be quite helpful and now all we have to do is to create the drop down menu so cl
