Apple iPhone - Edit a Contact From a Home screen on your Apple iPhone, tap the. Phone app. . Contacts. (at the bottom). Tap a contact. Edit. (upper-right). Enter or edit any of the info fields (e.g., Name, Phone, Email, etc.) then tap. Done.

Add a field: Click Add Field, then choose a field to add to the template. Fields that are already included in the template appear dimmed with a checkmark. Change a fields label: Click the label, then choose a different one. For example, to enter a work email instead of home email, click Home, then choose Work.
Use Template settings in Contacts to choose the fields that appear on new contact cards. Existing cards arent changed when you edit the template. To change these settings in the Contacts app on your Mac, choose Contacts Settings, then click Template. Click the pop-up menu, then choose a field to add to the template.
In the Contacts app on your Mac, choose Contacts Settings, then click General. Click the Sort By pop-up menu to sort contacts in alphabetical order by first or last name.
