Today were going to talk about the Landlord and Tenant act nineteen fifty four also known as the 54 act, so the important provisions of this act that were considering is the fact that it gives the rights for commercial tenants to remain in occupation of their premises even though the contractual term of their lease has come to an end. Its important to note here that this right only applies to commercial premises occupied for business use and it does not relate to residential tenancies.
