To enable or disable access to Visual Basic projects Click the File tab. Click Options. Click Trust Center, and then click Trust Center Settings. In the Trust Center, click Macro Settings. Check or uncheck Trust access to the VBA project object model to enable or disable access to Visual Basic Projects. Click OK.
The Developer tab isnt displayed by default, but you can add it to the ribbon. On the File tab, go to Options Customize Ribbon. Under Customize the Ribbon and under Main Tabs, select the Developer check box.
On the Developer tab, in the Code group, click Macros. In the Macro name box, click the macro that you want to edit. Click Edit.
Modify the macro in the VBA Editor On the Tools tab, select Visual Basic. In the Visual Basic Editor Project Explorer window, open the Project folder and then in the Modules folder, select Recorded and then select the module that has the name of the macro. The recorded macro code is displayed in the code window.
To add code to an existing macro, you can record actions in a temporary macro and then transfer the code into the macro you want to change.
Modify the macro in the VBA Editor On the Tools tab, select Visual Basic. In the Visual Basic Editor Project Explorer window, open the Project folder and then in the Modules folder, select Recorded and then select the module that has the name of the macro. The recorded macro code is displayed in the code window.
Renaming a Module Renaming a Module. Click on the module you wish to rename in the Project Explorer. Press enter to rename the module. You rename your forms in the same manner. Click Remove (in this case Module2) A warning box will appear asking if you want to Export the module or form before you remove it.
Select Excel Preferences Ribbon Toolbar. Under Customize the Ribbon, select Main Tabs and then check Developer.
If you click on the module in the Project Explorer, the name should appear in the properties window (below). It should say (name) Module1. You can just click on the name there and edit it. Save this answer.
Hold the Alt key, and press the F11 key, to open the Visual Basic Editor. In the Project Explorer, find your workbook, and open the list of Microsoft Excel Objects. Right-click on the ThisWorkbook object, and choose View Code.
