Editing a Chart Select the chart that you want to edit in your presentation. Any Google Slides chart is processed as an image. To edit it, click the Link options drop-down arrow, located in the top right corner, and choose Open source. Modify the data that has been generated by default.
On the slide, select the chart that you want to change. When you do so, two contextual tabs appear on the ribbon: Chart Design and Format. If you do not see the Chart Design and Format tabs, make sure that you click the chart to select it. On Chart Design tab, in the Data group, select Edit Data.
You can also right-click on the chart and choose Edit Data if you want to amend the graphs data.In the top right-hand corner, you can find several buttons that enable you to edit different aspects of the graph. These include: Chart Elements: this lets you edit data labels and the titles of each axis.
Format your chart using the Format task pane Right-click the chart axis, and click Format Axis. In the Format Axis task pane, make the changes you want. You can move or resize the task pane to make working with it easier. Click the chevron in the upper right. Select Move and then drag the pane to a new location.
